Thank you for purchasing NoteBook for Mac!

You can move a page from one Notebook to another by copying the page (or pages) from the Contents page of the first Notebook to the Contents page of the other.

Hi,
New to he product, but it got great reviews on the Mac cast so I put my money down. So here’s the question.

How can I import pages from one note book to another? This must be simple but I cant work it out al all.

Any help is really appreciated.

I used the voice annotation feature in class, and later that night, while editing notes, the notebook crashed! and all the voice annotations disappeared! Help! What do I do?!

OK..I JUST bought Notebook and am having fun with it. But I’m saving as PDF’s for associates and none of the embedded file links work. What am I doing wrong? For example, I added a pdf to a page that contained some photo thumbnails. It opens fine in my real Notebook, but not once I save it as a PDF. URL’s don’t link to the websites either. I know it’s me not knowing the program yet, but I’d sure appreciate help on this. And, THANKS in advance!!

As I noted, it might be related to the length of the path name for that file and iTunes might have a problem with that.

CP is apparently too busy to respond to a note sent directly to them so I’ll try with the wiser group and see if you can help.

So, I bit the bullet and bought NoteBook for my iPad. I’ve had it on my Mac for a while and mostly things have gone well.
The first thing I did was check my Mac version by selecting ‘Check for new version…’ from the menu. It said none available, but I only had version 3.0 at the time. So I went to your web site and downloaded the 3.0.10 version and installed it. So the update doesn’t work.

Then I downloaded and installed the iPad version, and using iTunes tried to select all of my projects. I have seven of them. One is call “SAS Projects”, and it’s about 70MB in size. When I try to add it to the list in iTunes I get the following warning: “SAS Projects.nb could not be copied because its name is too long.” WTF?

At this point guys, 6 of the projects have successfully imported from my Mac to iPad. Yes, I opened and saved each before trying to import.

But that one project is still giving me the same error even after changing the name. Any ideas?

In the manual, it specifically states that the sticky notes will not export or print. What’s the point, really? If you want your notes to print, use text notes. I use stickies as just reminders for that page, or for easily locating that page for a reason.

I had the same problem, but just randomly figured it out. Drag the sticky note off of the notebook entirely. It will disappear in a puff of smoke.

To delete a Sticky Note or Flag, just drag it completely off the Notebook window. It will disappear in a poof.

export showing creation date (by svirsky)

I keep a running log of all converations for each client using NB. Separate page for each deal and or client. I show creation date column and use it as time and date stamp. The problem occurred when I wanted to send this log to a client. The text info prints but does not show the creation date column. I exported using doc. and .opml which I then transfered to Omni Outliner and made as PDF, since client works with Windows. .doc did not format as well so Omni was a good solution.

Appreciate any suggestions and help.

Having problem in printing sticky note that are located on writing page. Is there a way to print both the text that is on the page as well as the sticky note info.
