Using voice annotation with imported PDF

Hey all, I am having some troubles with voice annotations in NoteBook.

I took the powerpoint provided by my instructor and converted it to a PDF. I then put the PDF into NoteBook. Cool. I now have about 50 pages that I can annotate during the lecture. At the beginning of my lecture, I clicked on the voice annotation to record the professor and made typed annotations to the slides as the instructor went over them. Now I have the slides provided by my instructor with annotations. But then I went to review the audio and I have no idea how to do so.

Normally, when I am working with an outline that has voice annotations I can click on the icon on the left hand of the page and listen to the lecture at the moment that I typed the information. With an imported PDF it appears as though I cannot listen to a voice annotation, correct? If not, then this is a seriously overlooked feature. I attached a picture to show what I mean.

Thanks in advance for any feedback anyone has out there.
