Using Notebook to take notes in classby bob98b3 - 11:46PM, Sep 10, 2010 |

I am brand new to Notebook and I am loving it so far. I started using it this semester to take notes in my classes instead of using Pages or Word and I love a number of the features. However, I am having a problem with outlines. As I am taking notes my professor will periodically give a list of stuff that often has sub topics. Is there a way to activate outline mode in a regular writing page for just a section of the text and then to revert back to regular writing after? Or even if I can have a bulleted list with sub-bullets that would work as well. I appreciate any help anyone can provide! Last edited 11:47PM, Sep 10, 2010 |

You could use the List command in the Text submenu of the Format menu to set bulleted items on a Writing page. But why not use a Note page for your class notes? Note pages are specifically designed for outlines. If you need to write multiple lines of text within a cell, you can do that by switching to Paragraph mode (Outline menu) or by pressing the Enter key (instead of the Return key). ---
