Thank you to everyone patiently waiting for NoteBook 3.0. The good news is we are releasing the 3.0 software to manufacturing (disc duplication) tomorrow, September 2. One of the big features we had announced -- native support for tables -- won't be in the initial 3.0 release. We decided that it's better to ship 3.0 without tables and to include them in a near-term update than to see the software slip even more than it already has. We hope you agree this was the right decision.

The not-so-good news is the website is behind schedule, specifically the changes needed to support vending of 3.0 license keys and upgrading of 2.1 license keys. I should receive an update tomorrow (today being a holiday) on its status. I also want to mention that we restrict new software releases to certain days of the week. For example we never release new software on Fridays, so if the website were to come together by the end of this week we would be looking to launch 3.0 sometime next week.

The completion of the website work and launch window constraints makes it hard to declare when 3.0 will go live. To be safe I'm going to say it will happen within the next two weeks. It should not take two weeks to get the website ready, but stranger things have happened during this release cycle. Thank you again for your patience.
