Madder than Hell about sticky notes not workingby Louis Dilts - 06:49PM, Dec 17, 2008 |
|
I can’t drop a sticky note down and click on it to begin writing, nor can I edit a sticky note by clicking or double clicking on the note. I have sent this bug to support and “they are working on it” yeh right. We all work hard for our money and to purchase something that doesn’t work really chaffs me. You would think the company would put people on this issue 24/7 and send an update out. I am a writer, and can’t even use the sticky note functionality. I’m madder than hell about this. I have tried to get hold of the CEO but to no avail. Maybe I’ll just call up my credit card company and get my money back. I love the app in general, maybe the best piece of SW I have purchased in years, but….....why release it if it doesn’t work? |

Agree with you. I am able to edit text but not select a sticky that has been made to delete it. So I’m stuck with empty stickies I used to check out the feature. Needs addressing asap. Also, the “what’s new in Notebook 3.0” link takes you to the general help page. Very annoying.

Hello rossb1, If you’d like, please send a note to support with specific steps to create the problem and we’d be pleased to help out. Make sure you have the latest version of NoteBook (v340) first. If not, you can get a copy here:
You may have a corrupt copy of NoteBook and redownloading may take care of the problem with the Help link. Choosing that command from the Help menu should take you to the “What’s New in NoteBook 3.0” help page. On another note, after some further consultation, we were able to help Louis with his problem as well. We’ll, actually he may have resolved the problem on his own! As always, if you do have an issue with NoteBook, we are happy to help out via the support link. There is at least one issue with Sticky Note and Flag editing that should be resolved in the next update to NoteBook. ---
Regards, __Eric

I don’t understand why my sticky flags aren’t working properly. They never disappear from the page when scrolling down or up. They just seem to get stuck right on top or bottom of the page. My notebook is up to date. Does anyone else face this same problem?
