Why does this happen when I outline?

by Daniel - 03:45PM, Jun 19, 2009

Hi there, I’m new to NoteBook and currently in my 30 day trial. I’m having some trouble outlining, which is a little embarrassing to admit… but, it is what it is. Every time I hit return to insert a new cell and start typing (or return-tab for children) the text from the previous cell is automatically entered and my new text is just added on to the end of it. As you might imagine, this is getting pretty annoying. Any tips? I’ve tried various preference adjustments and can’t seem to come up with anything. Thanks everyone!

Just me again… I have something to add to this issue: now whenever I click on a previously created cell (elsewhere in the notebook), the contents of the last cell I created automatically appear in the other cell, so I can’t edit it. What in the world is going on? Is this a bug? Thanks to anyone who might help.

You may want to submit this issue to our support team, and include the notebook as an attachment.
