Hi everyone and thanks in advance for your help in hopefully resolving this issue I’m having. I just opened up my Notebook and noticed that my sticky flags which have been attached to cells throughout my page have disappeared. I’ve attached them to cells using the option key. I’ve manually hidden the cell controls (the little blue bullets) on my pages. Could that be an issue? Anyone who could help me resolve this would be amazing! I’m using Notebook v355 K |

Is it possible you un-checked “View>>Stickies and Flags”? Hiding cell controls should have no effect on Stickies. Stickies that are attached to cells should be hidden when the cell is hidden (the parent cell is collapsed), but they should show whenever the cell is visible. — Last edited 01:53AM, Sep 09, 2009 |

Hey Kirby kind of you to respond to my question. Stickies and Flags is checked in the > View menu. Unfortunately I don’t know what else to do…

Perhaps Eric will comment. In the meantime, you might file a request at I don’t have much to add. Can you see stickies in a newly created Notebook?

Yes, this would be a good inquiry to submit to support. We’d certainly want to investigate that further and can better accomplish that in that venue. If you can send us a sample Notebook, it might be helpful as well. ---

This just happened to me. Woke my Mac up from sleep to find that all my sticky flags were smooshed up at the top of each page (That is they were no longer attached to their respective cells, even though the little arrow on the sticky note indicated they were attached). When I reopened the notebook, EVERY note on EVERY page, in EVERY divider (so all my notes and annotations) were gone. I had made a backup of the notebook and the notes are all missing from that version as well. I was using notebook for all my law school notes, and now I’ve lost a significant portion of them. I’m deeply disappointed.

I just tried doing a sticky flag that was tied to a cell for the first time and Notebook crashed. I’d submit a bug report like suggested, this seems to be a coding error.
