New user here, liking what I see so far. Is it possible to create a numbering style that includes the total of all items on a page automatically? Like:

1/3. Item a
2/3. item b
3/3. item c

I don’t believe that’s possible. You should suggest that directly to support here.

I what you mean, you actually want a count.

In custom you can do total cell count numbering, descendant numbering, etc., but it won’t do a dynamic fraction that updates the numerator and denominator as you add cells or move things, just the number for the cell (or children).

Sorry for not reading your post thoroughly enough.

An upcoming feature for tables, similar to what you have in excel, may support this. It’d be worth checking there to see if you can set something up in the table that can suit your needs until the feature is (if they choose to) added directly into the outline inspector.
