I created a link between text in a cell and another Notebook page. Later, I ended up deleting the page that the text was linked to. Now the word that was linked continues to behave as a "link", in the sense that it is blue, underlined, and when clicked on, it attempts to link to the page. A message appears, reminding me that the linked page is now missing. I tried looking for a method to undo the link in Preferences, the Inspector and in the Menus, but have not found anything. I then tried formatting the word, changing the color to default black and removing the underline. But after saving the file, quiting the program and then re-launching ... the word is back to behaving as if it is still linked [I didn't really expect formatting to be a solution]. I then deleted the word and retyped it. That appears to have worked. Is this the recommended method for turning off a text link to a deleted page? What is the method for turning off a link? Should I have first used the Inspector somehow, before deleting the page? If so, this would require that you remember any and all links to a page before deleting that page. Is my logic making sense?
