Hi - I'm a Notebook newbie. When I try to change the default font in Notebook preferences, the change doesn't seem to take -- even with a new notebook, opened after the change has been implemented. Is this a bug or am I doing something incorrectly? I'm clicking the SET button, then opting for a smaller size of Helvetica or Geneva but the size remains at 14pt, even when I then create a new notebook. Thanks for your help with this.

Greetings all! I am also having the same "problem" as you... For the statistics... OSX 10.3.1 NoteBook 1.2 (v171)

Sorry about this everyone. This is a bug I introduced into the v171 release with the addition of the textfields that let you set the smart quotes characters. I'm preparing a v172 that fixes the problem. Probably available early next week.
