No Voice annotation in Writing Page?by CraftGeek - 11:59AM, Apr 08, 2008 |

Voice Annotation that I create while in a Writing page never stick to the text I was on at the time of the recording. instead, they all go to Their own “Voice Annotations” page with no reference to where they came from. VERRRRRRRYYYYYY annoying. If I am in an outline page, all works normally. What gives? ---

I believe this may be a bug. I have reported it to the development team. We're sorry for the inconvenience.

I wonder about that too. I tried and it only works with Note page. Is this bug fixed? It would be super if I can use it with writing page. Also is it possible to use as a dictator and while playing back the voice if the text color of that annotation followed message from light to dark.

Mariko, do you mean that it would highlight the text you typed as it recorded like in OneNote?

I just tried using the voice annotation on a writing page today. There was no indication of an error, but now I can’t find the voice file anywhere. Any suggestions?

I’m pretty certain that Voice Annotations on Writing (or Cornell Note Taking) pages is unintentional. I’m revisiting this issue with our software development team. You can find the recording in the Discarded Attachments page of the Multidex. ---

Hi there, I echo the issue. I want to be able to voice annotate in pages other than an outline page – which I rarely use. I generally use writing pages and voice annotations don’t seem to work. Would really like this functionality.

Is there already news about this item? Regards, René
