New User Saying "Howdy"

Hi everyone!

I'm a brand new Notebook user. I have learned from experience that the first thing to do is join the forum, so here I am. I'm located in Las Vegas, NV, so if any of you writers have a question about Sin City, please feel free to ask me.

Frankly, I was surprised to see the "Write a book or novel" option on the opening menu. I didn't realize that Notebook would allow that much data per page or tab section. Are there any limitations on the amount of text entry?

Anyway, I'm glad to be here. I look forward to reading your posts.

There's probably some sort of limit on the data, but I for one have never reached it. These are virtual pages, not real ones, and that's one of the great things about software. Just write away and, as long as you're willing to scroll, you can have a page that's a mile long. Naturally, when you print, you may be surprised at how much paper "one" page consumes!

Welcome to the community.

Actually, NoteBook was designed to be highly scalable. There is no limit on file size. The only physical limit you'll run into would be the size of your disk. Now, that would be a pretty big Notebook! :-)

While you can do this, you might want to think about breaking it down for reasons of your own comprehension and functionality. But that's a personal preference. If you want to have one giant page and you like that, by all means go for it!
