NB not exporting to web

I’ve been trying to export a small notebook with several snapshots to MobileMe to use on the web, but the export stalls every time it gets to the page with the snapshots. After several stalls, I let it run overnight, but after 8 hours it was still stalled trying to export the snapshot page.

Any suggestions on what’s happening and how to export properly?

I’m having exactly the same problem. I have a Notes page with diagrams (created in Notebook)and the export stalls there forever.

I let mine go for 16 hours before pulling the plug. I wonder if this is a Snow Leopard issue – I recently upgraded.

This is an issue that we are aware of and working on with Apple (it appears to be an issue with MobileMe). From what we’ve observed, it appears that Mobile Me is not uploading the correct number of pages when exporting as a site.

The workaround is to create a folder on your desktop with the name of your site, then with your notebook open, choose File->Export as a Website->To Disk… When prompted to specify a saving location, chose the folder you created on your desktop.

Once the export is complete, open your iDisk and navigate to iDisk/Web/Sites. Then, drag the folder you created on your desktop to the Sites folder in your iDisk. Once the upload is complete, you can access your site with this URL:

http://web.me.com/your_mobile_me_account_name/your_folder/index.html

Example:

http://web.me.com/johnsmith/circusponies/index.html
