A web site made with Notebook, no sidebar

by joshcello - 04:22AM, Nov 08, 2009

Here is my new web site, made with Notebook, but without exporting to the normal Notebook sidebar. I made use of the Cornell Note pages and also inline tables (ex. a blank column with spaces and return to separate the text columns). I did use Smultron to add the flash player code, and there are some tweaks yet to be done. But I am impressed with this software’s capabilities for web site making! I did find it easier to export the web site to disk and use Fugu for uploading rather than the built-in SFTP.

Nice work Joshua,

very clean and pleasant to browse – ‘elegant simplicity’, just like NoteBook itself.

Joshua, Your website looks great. It’s exciting that you made it with Circus Ponies – it shows what creativity armed with the right software can accomplish.

I have been using Circus Ponies for sometime (albeit with a few technical difficulties) and believe myself to be beyond novice, but not an expert either.

However when it comes to html, coding, and, well basically making a website, I am pre-novice! Do I understand that each page on your website is a Cornell Note Page, with links to each other and jpegs pasted within cells?

It’s apparent that you’re quite busy, but if you could spare a moment to offer a few clues/tips, it would be greatly appreciated. I’d like to attempt something like this.

Thanks. – Misty Mouse
