|
20091222-0213 – IMPORTANT NOTICE. I now consider this thread CLOSED. PLEASE don’t ask for copies via this thread – I may not see them for some time if at all. See my actual release announcement dayBook_2010-7th_Edition – A NoteBook Template in this ‘Great NoteBook Template Swap’ Section of the forum. NB: If you did ask for an Early-Bird copy please note that all these that I am aware of have been sent, 4 have bounced. If you did not get yours please ask again via the 7th Edition link above. Thanks. Have a Great & Safe Holiday Season! Greetings fellow NoteBookers. I am currently into the final planning stages for the content inclusion of the 2010 dayBook which I hope to have ready for release in about 8 weeks (end Nov ‘09). If any of those who have downloaded and used my dayBook_2009 – A NoteBook Template or any previous years have any thoughts or suggestions for next years version then now is the time to forward them to me by replying here or emailing me direct at pettri#ozemail.com.au (change # to @). Please note that not all or any suggestions will necessarily be included although all (polite) 8-) suggestions (for the notebook content) will be considered. 2009.12.14-Mon. 23:05 AEDT OK Guys, I am running late, last minute changes, distribution will commence one way or the other on 2009.12.20-Sun AEDT. ---

Hey Pete. I can only say… “Great!” I am still a newbie to MAC, but at this point have just bought my 4th in the last 12 months, so it is contagious. That said, I am an Active Investor, and use the Day Book as a place to clip my portfolio reports, charts, etc. One thing that “traders” (and maybe others) would find helpful is “ascending” and “descending” julian dates in the daybook. Because I trade options, I look at the 3rd Friday of each month, and then count back to 60, 45, and 30 days before the expiry date to enter options trades. Using the Julien dates allows the math to be simple to determine those dates. Just an idea so thought I would throw it out. Thanks for what you do. Steve Fraas / stevefraas@me.com

Hello Petert, I wonder if i would qualify to use your 2010 calendar template. I am in Charleston, SC. Like very much NoteBook and have used for 3 or 4 years, perhaps not as intense as I should. Lots of my “data”, notes on life, tracking issues, relationships I want to keep a record on what is going on, websites I have created (mainly for fun) visit MacTV.net, etc. are on my 3.0 (366). Once I started a “calendar” but the complexity of my intentions discouraged me to stick to doing something worthwhile keeping. Let me explore yours. I promise to be constructive, and if for anything it doesn’t work out, at least please receive from me a jealous greeting – so far – of someone that would love to be “down under”. Maybe one day I will get to go south of the equator. Until than. Best regards, Pepe Hernandez
