A simple, clean reader’s companion, Reader’s NoteBook grew out of Books Worth Gettin’, a sprawling NoteBook.Web publishing supresses the page background, making for easier reading on line. Printing a hard copy or using in the screen of my laptop allows the wrinkled paper background to show through, giving the entire work a more organic feel.This was designed to stay out of the way of the books themselves and act more as a place where I can exercise and explore thoughts on what I’m reading. Obviously, indexing and Super-Finds grow more important as the NoteBook grows, while lightbulb and snapback stickers give visual cues as to subject matter of selected headings.See the preview here.Download the template as a .zip file here. [Comment edited Monday Night:] After this weekend's Webslog Memorial Day FilmPhest, I realize this could also could well serve as a Movies NoteBook. My wife's and my movie taste run all over the map and one of us drawing the "go to the video store" errand is only preferable to "administer nose drops to the two-year old" on the job chart. As the NoteBook grows, it can get published on-line for she or I to reference as the other is standing in the video aisle. "What's that other one we wanted see? 'Steamsomnthing?" Who ever's at home does a find or hits the index page under Steam and sees I'm refering to Steamboy. Reviews, notes, links, etc., let either of us do a full rundown on any movie we've taken the time to load up so the "movie-picker-upper" has a much easier job standing there in the aisle of VideochoiceBuster.

Hi Could you please post a copy of the template to me at bruce.hunt AT postgrad.curtin#.edu.au You will need to change the AT sign and remove the pound sign as some of the robots have got smart enough to work out email addresses with the various AT signs changed only. Many thanks
