Moving a pages "with attachment" to a different notebook?

I was able to move pages from the Notebook A to Notebook B. I was so excited that I just scan the pictures and filled the notebook with many pages with pictures, PDF, using “Press Shift to place the attachment anywhere on the page”. And now I wanted to categorize theses pages by creating couple different notebooks.

I just learn this how to do by reading this forums “Moving a pages to a different notebook”. So here I am – I made scrap books of different categories. And using below technic which worked wonderfully before perhaps without any attachments. But NOW NO!! My all of attachments I pasted on a new notebook appeared as WHITE BLANK PICTURES.

Do you have any idea how to Transfer the pages from Notebook A ->Notebook B with attachments – pictures, PDF, etc. I would really like to do this. Please let me know. Thank You!!

[If you want to copy entire pages from NoteBook A (NB-A) to NoteBook B (NB-B) you can do this using Cut and Paste for the Entire page(s) by:

Opening NB-A & NB-B up side by side, both open at the Contents Divider.
Assuming A is the source, select the page(s) in NB-A you want to copy/move to NB-B by;
Select NB-A
Click1 just to the left of the page ‘cell control’ for each page you want to relocate from NB-A to NB-B
‘Copy’ the page(s)
Select NB-B (Contents Page / Section) and
‘Paste’]

In fact I just tested again by coping a page with the attachments from the notebook A then pasted to the notebook B. The both copy and past was done at the Contents Divider of Notebook A and Notebook B. I had a crash of the application.

“The application NoteBook quit unexpectedly.” sign came up on the screen.

Try saving the new notebook before you browse it, so in the contents divider select what pages/dividers you want, copy, paste into new notebook, save as, save. The attached files are nested in a package file, where the .nb file isn’t really a file, it’s a folder that houses Notebook specific files and your attachments. Your stuff is probably not displaying since you haven’t saved it to the HD, so it can’t reference the actual attached file/image. I’ve done this before with attachments, so try saving the new NB.

As for crash, copy the crash report and console error messages and submit a bug report.
