If it was possible to password lock pages on an individual basis. It would prevent editing but would still allow me to read/search the page or highlight a cell/paragraph/sentence/picture and copy and paste it to a new page in the same notebook. Basically everything but change its contents. Also that highlighting and copying process from a locked page should not change the creation/modification date.

This would be really useful in the laboratory.

I have no idea if it is even remotely possible but I figure it couldn't hurt to ask.

I think this would be a great idea. I often move from one page to the other with the arrow key and I'm always affraid that I will hit another key and delete something.

For me the password will be a little bit too complicated but only having a feature like excel (lock - on or off) in the inspector will be great. A password could also be an option like in excel.
