We’ve identified the steps to reproduce this issue and our software development team is looking into it. In the meantime, you can get rid of the persistent stickies by quitting NoteBook in the App Switcher.

I am having the same problem and just submitted a bug report to Technical Support. Mine doesn’t have any annotations or other documents associcated. I just added a sticky to one page to mark something as IMPORTANT. Now the same sticky appears on every page of every notebook. No way to remove it.

In his video tutorial on using Notebook for iPad (2nd one), Don McAllister talks of scaling the page.

How does he do this?

Also, if I drop a pdf or jpeg into a Notebook so that it can be annotated, is there a way I can zoom or scale that when looking at it on my iPad?

Copy your outline from your old program and then in NB, go to edit – paste as – outline.

I’m a bit rusty as I mostly use NB on my ipad lately, and I’m not right near a desktop to look it up, but I believe there’s an option like this that should help!

You’re welcome. You should be able to insert a page break. I had replied to you in a support message but didn’t realize the command was dimmed for you. You need to have an outline item selected for this command to be available. If that’s still not working, write back to me via e-mail and we’ll figure it out.

Thanks Eric for clearing up some of these issues – Hopefully, future versions will improve in these areas since otherwise the NB software is quite good – Its these seemingly little things that cause the biggest amount of aggravation to, from what I gather from the post, several other people in addition to myself.

Thank you again.

Hey guys – Does anyone know if the customer service form they direct you to actually gets answered?
It’s been two days and no reply – I’d call but their website specifically says they wont answer
ANY tech questions via phone. Does anyone else find this odd? Meanwhile Im afraid of using the NB
program given how badly it messed up my notes so far and every day that passes is just more hand-writen notes
I’ll need to RE-ENTER, hopefully with a “fixed” CP, but if not with Scrivener or Evernote because so far sooo not impressed with CP software OR its customer service.

yebdox – youre sooo right. Its completely useless for taking notes if you want to print them out to study – Also, everything you annotate moves around every time you reopen a notebook making annotating or placing ANY kind of arrow, scribble etc into your notes useless and very distracting seeing that they just migrate to random places on the page. Ive even had them “magically” appear in far away pages that have no relation with the comments they contain. Its hard to believe this was made for Mac given the complete randomness of the interface – Ive had to redo ALL my notes BY HAND (talk about wasted hours) just to get away from this thing until someone from customer service can answer/solve a single of these multiple bugs – still waiting to hear back….

You didnt do anything – I had the same problem and its not only missing info, you will also notice that the left and the right columns will NOT match at the proper level if you reopen the notebook at a later date – It destroyed HOURS of notes. This thing is buggier than Microsoft stuff…geesssss. Have had one thing after another go wrong, move, get delated…ugh

I agree with yebdox – WHY not have the page breaks actually WORK? That way those who want regular sized pages can have them and those that want the toilet-paper like rolls that are utterly unprintable can have them too.
I find it ridiculous that this very VERY basic feature is not a given – Basically CP designers are saying – you want to print them out? NO WAY!! – Why should the program dictate how we organize our own notes? Talk about UNflexible.
I made the mistake of buying the whole think never thinking such an elemental feature would be missing…VERY disappointing.
P.S. any note, shape or ink also moves around randomly every time you re-open a notebook…talk about aggravating – are these bugs??? When will they get fixed? I had to spend 3+ HOURS figuring out which side notes, inks and shapes belonged where…..SOOOO FRUSTRATING and SUCH a time waster.

Does anyone know HOW on EARTH can one annotate notes and have them STAY IN PLACE??
I HAVE TRIED everything: TRIES THE POST-ITS, FLAGS, ETC and they just move w the screen.
Then I tried adding SHAPES and writing inside them – nope, they only stay put for
that session – the next time you open the notebook they migrate all over the place
and it becomes a NIGHTMARE to remember which went where – the SAME thing happens
when you use “INK” – its fine for that session, but when you reopen the notebook they are
all scattered in different pages, locations, etc.
This is SOOOO ANNOYING OMG!! It renders the whole POINT of taking digital notes null

Also – it will NOT LET ME INSERT A PAGE BREAK! The command is there, but its “grayed out”
So basically when I try to print them out, my notes are a real mess – bits and pieces in
each page.
